At North Austin Foot and Ankle Institute we take a tremendous amount of pride in providing first-class care for every patient who comes to see us for treatment. In order to do so, we stay on top of advancements in the field of podiatry and utilize advanced techniques and state-of-the-art equipment.
Of course, it also means we’re dedicated to having the best staff around.
We were already very fortunate to have an exceptional staff – but we weren’t going to just kick back and be content! On the contrary, we managed to take our staff and make it even more exceptional with the recent addition of Anne Sharkey, D.P.M.
Our goal is to continually improve the practice, and being able to bring someone like Dr. Sharkey on board helps to show just how important this is to us.
As you will likely be able to tell, we are quite excited to add another caring podiatrist to our staff. Doing so allows us to provide effective foot and ankle treatment for even more community members who have been suffering from lower limb medical issues.
Even better, though, Dr. Sharkey has been looking forward to helping us in our mission of providing five-star care and first-rate solutions to your foot and ankle concerns.
Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Sharkey had been working in the Chicago suburbs for the past 5 years. While there, she was able to gain experience in providing an array of different treatment methods for her patients. Now she’s bringing her skill and knowledge in podiatric care to our practice.
As an associate in the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Sharkey stays current with the latest in news and advancements for our medical field. Whereas she enjoys all aspects of treating foot and ankle conditions, her particular interests include providing treatment for ankle sprains, ankle instability, Achilles tendon disorders, bunions, and heel pain. Her philosophy for practicing medicine is to take the time needed to develop an individualized treatment approach that is tailored to meet each patient’s personal life circumstances and goals.
On a personal level, Dr. Sharkey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers, traveling, reading, practicing photography, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.
We hope you will help us in making Dr. Sharkey feel welcome here at North Austin Foot & Ankle Institute.
